Job summary

Lucid Motors is hiring a Mobile Service Technician to perform field repairs at client locations, traveling with provided tools and service van. You will diagnose, maintain and repair Lucid vehicles, working independently or with a nearby service location for support.

ASE/ED certifications preferred, with Lucid CPR training provided after hire. The role emphasizes customer experience, proper documentation, and efficient scheduling while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and EV systems

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of automotive service technician experience.
• Self-sufficient, highly organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and EV powertrain.
• Customer facing with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training post hire.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; 21+ with extended license period requirement.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Service Advisor with parts duties including ordering, returns, and inventory management.
• Work directly with clients to provide a high level of customer experience.
• Document all customer vehicle interactions using the appropriate software suite.
• Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems.
• Conduct walk-around and write-up to ascertain primary concerns.
• Document client concerns for diagnosis and repair.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (Three C’s).
• Invoice and collect payment.
• Provide customer service and scheduling support as needed.
• Review appointment schedule to plan travel time and visit duration for mobile services.
• Provide support at Service Center as needed.
• Ability to travel in assigned territory and other service locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
