Job summary

Atoms is building the machines powering the next era of progress. We’re seeking a resourceful Shop Manager to lead maintenance for our growing EV fleet, build scalable operations, and ensure safety, compliance, and high uptime from the Dallas facility.

You’ll manage vendor relationships, drive KPIs, and lead a hands-on team of technicians to support rapid fleet expansion while maintaining quality and safety standards across all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading shop operations in EV fleets
• 3+ years supervising 3+ technicians in a commercial fleet
• Experience with fleet management software systems
• Regulatory compliance experience across EV, rideshare, rental, or commercial fleets

Responsibilities

• Build and scale maintenance operations from zero to one, including facility setup and repair workflows.
• Own fleet uptime and readiness, optimize scheduling, and track KPIs.
• Lead safety, compliance, and regulatory documentation for the fleet.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop technicians; foster ownership and accountability.
