Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technically while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work under mentors to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service. The role may involve remote work, mobile service, or plant support as needs evolve.

Based mainly at a local service center, you will develop skills in diagnostics, tool usage, and customer interactions while contributing to continuous improvement efforts and service campaigns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on experience in automotive shop or technical environment.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures safely with attention to quality.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, and inventory tracking.
