Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• Available for a 40-hour work week, including weekends/holidays/shifts as needed.
• Proficient with laptops or computers in Windows or Mac environments.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, and data entry.
• Ability to read and speak fluent English.
• EV or hybrid repair experience is a plus.
• Start-up experience preferred.
• Experience with parts departments, billing, and work order management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify and explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures using available technical resources.
• Conduct road tests to ensure repair quality.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement to senior technicians or leadership.
• Support service campaigns and containment initiatives.
• Document all work and technical notes for internal and external use.
• Collaborate effectively with the team and maintain high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Communicate professionally in customer-facing situations.
• Stay current with technical skills and required training.
• Interact with customers, families, 3rd parties, and suppliers as needed.
