Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Mobile Technician in Florida to support Rivian vehicle repairs across service centers and on-site locations. The role emphasizes collaboration, customer-facing communication, and adherence to Rivian repair procedures.

The position is open to various experience levels, with EV/hybrid repair considered a plus. A valid driver’s license, 21+ years of age, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Travel to production sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and comfortable using laptops/computers.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to occasionally drive a non-commercial truck/trailer and work 40 hours per week including weekends or shifts.
• Fluent English reading and speaking abilities; able to interpret documents.
• Hands-on automotive repair experience is preferred; EV/hybrid knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with parts, billing, and work orders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product line and EV framework; explain tools and accessories to customers.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures and safety standards with minimal supervision.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and complete technical notes for records.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
