Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking a Field Quality Engineer - Vehicle Systems & Integration to bridge real-world performance with engineering design. You will diagnose complex issues across mechanical, electrical, and software domains and drive data-driven improvements.

You will work in the field and in labs, using troubleshooting and analytics to ensure uptime and durability of next‑gen EVs, collaborating with Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3–10 years in Field Quality, Reliability Engineering, or a similar EV/automotive role.
• Strong data-management tool skills (SQL, Python, BI platforms).
• Hands‑on experience with diagnostic tools (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, CANalyzer/CANoe).
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Failure Analysis & Troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Predictive Reliability analysis to forecast potential failure modes.
• Partner with hardware/software teams to implement reliability growth plans.
• Data Management & Analytics to curate field performance data for engineering sprints.
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing on RCA and CAPA.
