Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Sr Lot Operations Specialist to help manage EV charging activities, inventory aging, and cross-functional coordination across Operations, Dealer Services, and Facilities.

The role combines outdoor field duties (80%) with some in-office work (20%), requires safe driving and a valid license, and leverages auto industry knowledge; competitive hourly pay with potential incentives.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field. OR combination with degree/certification and 3 years’ experience; OR 7 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning and general auto body knowledge.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team-based interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Requires physical ability and mental acuity to meet business requirements.

Mansioni

• EV & Charging Operations: Coordinate daily EV charging activities to ensure vehicle availability and monitor charger uptime.
• Aged Inventory & Property Control: Monitor and manage units aged 15 days or more, identify inventory ownership, and contact owners as needed.
• Customer Communication & Professional Conduct: Communicate professionally with customers, dealers, and agencies; provide clear explanations of storage timelines.
• Documentation & System Updates: Record conversations in AS400, document call attempts and actions, maintain audit-ready records.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Operations, Commercial teams, Dealer Services, Repo partners, and Facilities to move vehicles and address issues.
