Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a multifaceted role combining EV charging operations, aged inventory management, and customer communications. The candidate will coordinate daily charging activities, monitor charger performance, and ensure safe use of equipment while managing aged inventory and coordinating with multiple internal teams.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and ownership to resolve inventory issues and keep customers informed with professional, timely updates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years’ related field experience, or alternative combo with 3–7 years in a related field.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Prior auto body knowledge and vehicle reconditioning experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily EV charging activities to ensure vehicle availability for lot and operations.
• Monitor charger utilization, uptime, and service issues; coordinate with Facilities and vendors.
• Ensure safe and compliant use of EV charging equipment.
• Monitor and manage inventory aged 15+ days on site; contact owners and coordinate next steps.
• Communicate with customers and dealers professionally; provide clear storage timelines and actions.
• Document conversations in AS400; track call attempts and follow-ups; maintain audit-ready records.
• Coordinate vehicle movement with Operations, Commercial teams, Dealer Services, and Partners.
