Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a Business Systems Analyst to drive requirements for EV charging platform features, partner integrations, and roaming connectivity. You will be the domain expert on OCPP 1.6/2.0.1 and OCPI 2.1.1/2.2.x for CMS communications and roaming interoperability.

You will translate business needs into functional specs, API requirements, and workflow diagrams, coordinating with engineers, QA, and external partners throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting BRDs, FRDs and API specifications.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional specs, data models, and integration flows.
• Knowledge of EV charging standards (OCPP/OCPI) and roaming interoperability.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for EV charging platform features and partner integrations.
• Act as domain expert on OCPP and OCPI for CMS communication and roaming interoperability.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and data exchange models for engineers.
• Lead requirement discovery sessions with CPOs, eMSPs, vendors, and payment providers.
• Collaborate with QA to define test scenarios and validate end-to-end integration.
• Support partner onboarding with integration playbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Prioritize backlog with product managers and monitor evolving standards.
