Octopus Electroverse is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Core squad and help build the foundational platform powering B2C, B2B and API features. You will work with the backend team to scale and secure critical charging infrastructure and pricing logic across global CPO integrations.

The role emphasizes robust software design, data architecture, observability and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a market-leading EV charging platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Python.
• Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant secure software.
• Good understanding of databases and data architecture.
• Proficient understanding of Git.
• Good communication skills with ability to align with product vision.

Responsibilities

• Help build and refine critical paths for OCPI sessions, locations and receipts.
• Influence tariffs & pricing logic and improve discounts for customers.
• Contribute to scalable backend architecture with observability and robust coding practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to propose technical solutions.
