Job summary

Pearce is seeking an experienced EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a regional area. This role covers site safety, electrical maintenance, and field reporting in accordance with contractual requirements.

The position requires independence and field work under varying conditions. You must be a Journeyman Electrician with 2+ years of power equipment experience, CMMS proficiency, and strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman) required.
• 2+ years’ experience servicing electrical power equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• CMMS experience and proficient Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency for safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades for a broad range of equipment, including Level 2 EV chargers and DC Fast Chargers.
• Conduct insulation testing (megger), thermal imaging, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Work with Planning and Scheduling to ensure maintenance schedules are met and work orders completed on time.
• Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment.
• In-field maintenance and field reporting, and other duties as needed.
• Document site issues in the work order system promptly.
