Zusammenfassung

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a regional footprint. The role requires independent work in the field, following safety protocols and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining Level 2 chargers and DC fast chargers, with attention to site manuals, reports, and CMMS entries. A valid Journeyman electrician license and English proficiency are required.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman) from a relevant state (REQUIRED).
• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties.

Aufgaben

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV charging stations (Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers).
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to adhere to maintenance schedules and complete work orders on time.
• Review site manuals/drawings for proper service and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform in-field electrical/mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance and document work in the CMMS.
• Document all site issues in the work order system and address promptly.
