Job summary
Akkodis is seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer / Technician to service the Las Vegas Metro area, with a company vehicle provided. This role emphasizes electrical field operations, including EV charging and solar backgrounds, and requires 80-90% local travel.
You will lead DC fast charging site maintenance, coordinate repairs, perform troubleshooting, and ensure high-quality field practices while balancing work/life commitments.
Qualifications
- Experience in servicing/troubleshooting DC medium to high-voltage (EV charging or solar) environments.
- Demonstrated leadership to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, etc.
- Electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Immaculate written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead the service and maintenance activities of DC Fast Charging site sites for risk mitigation, testing, data collection, corrections, and repair management.
- Plan and coordinate major site repairs and improvements.
- Audit field maintenance methods and feedback to internal and external partners to improve field maintenance practices' quality, impact, and repeatability.
- Develop and support site longitudinal testing activities.
- Conduct electrical forensics within the charging station infrastructure.
- Scope of work continuous improvement.
