Job summary
Akkodis is seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer / Technician to cover the Phoenix/Scottsdale metro area, with company vehicle provided. This role involves 80-90% local travel to service and maintain DC Fast Charging sites, and to troubleshoot medium to high voltage infrastructure across EV charging installations.
The position emphasizes leadership in coordinating with suppliers, site planning, and detecting root causes to ensure reliable charging services.
Qualifications
- Experience in field service operations or technician roles.
- Familiarity with medium to high-voltage environments (480V AC, 500V+ DC)
- Strong communication and coordination skills for site work.
- Ability to lead site activities and coordinate with vendors/suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead service and maintenance activities for DC Fast Charging sites.
- Plan and coordinate major site repairs and improvements.
- Audit maintenance methods and provide feedback to improve quality.
- Develop and support longitudinal testing activities at sites.
- Perform electrical forensics within charging station infrastructure.
- Drive continuous improvement of scope-of-work processes.
