Job summary
Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding its De Soto, Kansas facility and seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead multiple high-volume production lines in a 24/7 setting. You will drive safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity while developing leadership and implementing standardized work and continuous improvement.
You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure operational alignment and effective resource planning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in high-volume operations.
- Strong data-driven decision making and financial acumen.
- Experience with Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing performance across multiple production lines and budgets.
- Lead Production Supervisors and ensure daily execution of plans.
- Drive capacity planning, labor optimization, and resource allocation.
- Implement standardized work and process controls to improve SQDCP metrics.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
