Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC in Irvine, CA seeks a Technical Program Manager/Senior Program Manager to lead complex customer-facing programs and multi-disciplinary technical projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate across customers, engineering, supply chain, production, and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in program management within automotive, EV, AV, or mobility industries, plus a engineering degree and strong Excel

Qualifications

8+ years of project or program management experience preferred.
Professional experience within the automotive, EV, AV, mobility, or closely related industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
Experience managing complex technical, engineering, design-build, or EPC projects.
Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
Experience developing and maintaining project schedules using Gantt charts and similar project management tools.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing programs and external stakeholder relationships.
Ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, supply chain, procurement, production, operations, finance, and commercial teams.
Strong analytical, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple customer programs throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning through execution and delivery.
Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, resource plans, and responsibilities.
Track project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
Identify risks, delays, resource constraints, and other obstacles and coordinate solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Maintain project documentation, schedules, reporting, and performance metrics.
Serve as a key point of coordination between customers and internal teams.
Manage customer expectations regarding schedules, deliverables, technical requirements, and project status.
Communicate project milestones, risks, changes, and priorities to appropriate stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Coordinate across engineering, procurement, supply chain, production, operations, finance, and commercial teams.
Establish responsibilities and timelines across project stakeholders.
Drive resolution of technical and operational issues affecting project execution.
Partner with commercial teams to support successful delivery of customer solutions.
Develop project reports, dashboards, presentations, and business analyses.
Track program milestones, deliverables, and overall performance.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Participate in project planning and operational meetings as needed.
