Job summary

Rivian in Irvine, CA is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive the design, development, release, and validation of electronics modules across vehicle platforms. You will lead schedules, partner with suppliers and internal teams, and manage risk to ensure on-time delivery of next-generation technologies.

The role requires strong initiative, independent judgement, and leadership, with global supplier collaboration and close alignment with vehicle integration and software teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading technical programs or equivalent.
• BS+ in Engineering or similar technical degree required
• Detailed knowledge of electrical hardware design, development, validation, and integration process
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams to address and solve complex issues
• Proven experience tracking and driving the progress of multiple projects
• Strong team player; drive to exceed expectations and meet deadlines
• Ability to manage ambiguity and create clarity
• Excellent written and verbal skills, able to concisely communicate with the assembly line or executives
• High-level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex
• Travel as needed to support builds

Responsibilities

• Create engineering schedules with architecture and design teams.
• Lead development and integration of electronics for pre-production builds.
• Identify risks and mitigate to hit timing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive critical path.
• Coordinate with suppliers for prototype deliveries.
• Coordinate with Vehicle Integration and Electrical Systems.
• Push and support release of engineering documentation to PLM.
• Support purchasing to ensure timely deliveries.
• Plan budgets and maintain risk registers.
