Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands-on automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, A/C, and AV/EV systems.
• Experience with hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacement.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Solid computer skills and aptitude for learning new technology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Safety-conscious with a learning mindset.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings including DOT if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and AV systems of electric autonomous vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, A/C, and AV/EV issues with precision.
• Conduct hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacements.
• Perform software and firmware updates as required.
• Collaborate with engineering/service teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Create repair orders and document work performed, including parts used.
• Participate in fleet-wide hardware/software retrofits.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain quality standards.
• Engage in continued education to stay current with autonomous tech.
