Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Detroit, MI is seeking a Master EV Technician/Automotive Mechanic to service, repair, and retrofit electric/autonomous vehicles. The role offers weekly pay and full benefits within 30 days, with growth opportunities nationwide and ASE reimbursement benefits.

Qualifications

4–8 years hands-on automotive maintenance and repairs experience.
Strong diagnostic ability for mechanical, electrical, A/C, and AV/EV systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to use shop equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform service, repair, and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems of electric autonomous vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, A/C, and autonomous vehicle systems.
Conduct hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacements.
Perform software and firmware updates.
Collaborate with engineering/service teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
Create repair orders and document work performed with diagnosis and parts used.
Participate in fleet-wide hardware/software retrofits.
Follow safety protocols and maintain high quality.
Pursue continuing education to stay current with autonomous vehicle tech.
