The role includes extensive hands-on training through Amerit University and a path to advanced EV/AV expertise.

This travel-heavy position requires 75–100% travel, with weekly pay, benefits within 30 days, and opportunities for career advancement nationwide in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of automotive experience with brakes, suspension, electrical repair, and diagnostics.
• HW retrofits and AV HW replacement experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and shop equipment.
• Strong computer skills and aptitude to learn new tech.
• Excellent communication and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service and repair of electrical, mechanical, and integration issues on autonomous vehicles.
• Perform software and firmware updates.
• Document work and diagnose issues; create repair orders.
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Support fleet-wide hardware and software retrofits.
• Maintain safety as top priority.
