Job summary

Swickard Auto Group in Anchorage is seeking an experienced European-brand vehicle technician for Mercedes-Benz service. This full-time, flat-rate role requires 2+ years working on European makes and a strong diagnostic background, with MBZ experience a strong plus.

You'll diagnose, repair, and document work across engines, transmissions, electrical, and HVAC systems, using OEM tools. The position offers a competitive $30-$45/hr flat-rate, paid MBZ training, and a path to advanced technician

Qualifications

2+ years of technician experience on European brand vehicles.
Strong diagnostic foundation with a track record of first-time repairs.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Mercedes-Benz experience or MBZ platform familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair Mercedes-Benz and European vehicles across engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC and more using OEM tools.
Perform multi-point inspections and develop repair plans with clear communication to service advisors.
Execute repairs to OEM specifications with speed, accuracy, and quality; avoid comebacks.
Document diagnostic findings and completed work on repair orders with precise records.
Stay current on Mercedes-Benz service bulletins, software updates and procedures.
Conduct test drives to validate conclusions before vehicle return.
