Primary Services is actively recruiting for an ETL/Data Support Analyst to support a large, well-established client in the energy industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your experience in SQL development, application support, and reporting within a collaborative, technology-driven setting. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining application programs and data integration solutions that support business needs.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, enhance, and support application programs within a team environment using various development tools.
Create and maintain reports using SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, and SSRS.
Provide system support and monitoring, occasionally outside normal business hours.
Facilitate requirements gathering and document detailed system requirements.
Develop new system functionality including custom code and packaged application configurations.
Ensure smooth transition from development to operations with appropriate procedures and monitoring tools.
Communicate project status, identify risks, and proactively resolve roadblocks.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to prioritize workload and adjust to changing demands.
Interface with IT application owners to provide technical solutions aligned with business needs.
Research, evaluate, and implement software and hardware configurations for optimal application performance.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices relevant to the business and IT environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions; experience with SSIS preferred.
Minimum 2 years developing and implementing data integration solutions in SQL Server environments.
Proficient in writing stored procedures, T-SQL, functions, and SQL queries with report writing best practices.
Experience with SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Visual Studio or similar platforms.
At least 1 year experience with high-volume data exchange and transaction processing systems.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Understanding of ETL best practices.
Application configuration and manual testing experience, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Familiarity with relational database concepts is essential.
