Job summary

The State of Oklahoma Ethics Commission seeks an Ethics Education and Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive ethics training for state officers, employees, and campaigns. You will lead content creation, learning experiences, and program evaluation to ensure compliance with ethics rules and statutes.

Responsibilities cover planning, instructional design, delivery of in-person, virtual, and on-demand training, and collaboration with OMES, leaders, and vendors to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of education or training plus 2 years in software for rapid development of training materials and online courses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing training needs assessments through stakeholder feedback, compliance trends, rule changes, advisory opinions, surveys, FAQs, and agency performance data.
• Develop and maintain an annual training, outreach, and content calendar supporting filing deadlines, Commission meetings, rulemaking, educational campaigns, and agency initiatives.
• Coordinate with Commission, agency leadership, state agencies, legislators, regulated entities, associations, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify educational needs and opportunities.
• Develop audience-specific learning pathways for Commissioners, agency staff, candidates, political action committees, political party committees, lobbyists, state officers and employees, political subdivisions, and the public.
• Maintain curriculum standards, course outlines, instructional design templates, style guides, and educational quality standards.
