GSA is seeking a General Attorney to serve as an Ethics attorney in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). The role involves advising on ethics standards for executive branch employees, and working within the Ethics Law Division (LE).

The position supports confidential and public financial disclosure processes, interacts with filers, and collaborates with supervisory attorneys and the Office of Inspector General on investigations.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island) and meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of closing date.
• Active Bar in good standing in any State, Territory, DC or Puerto Rico required.
• Two years of professional legal experience acquired after admission to the bar.

Responsabilités

• Work with the Ethics Law Division on providing advice and opinions on ethics rules and policies.
• Participate in financial disclosure reporting process and communicate with filers.
• Assist in investigation of ethics-related criminal statutes and regulations as needed.
• Serve as a primary contact for ethics-related questions from program clients.
• Assist with coordinating training programs with appropriate agency officials.
