Job summary

A&F Electric, Inc. in Napa Valley is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to lead electrical estimating and manage projects from bid to closeout. You will read plans, build competitive bids, and coordinate with field leadership to keep projects on schedule.

In this full-time, in-person role you’ll handle takeoffs, change orders, material purchasing, and cost tracking using Excel. The right candidate has practical estimating experience in electrical construction and a drive to grow with a growing

Estimator / Project Manager — Electrical Construction

A&F Electric is Napa Valley's premier electrical contractor — 20+ years of delivering high-quality electrical work for world-class wineries, commercial tenant improvements, and high-end residential projects. We're growing, and we're adding an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to our office team.

This is a core estimating role with project management responsibilities. If you know how to read a set of plans, build a competitive bid, and see a project through from award to closeout — we want to talk.

Full-Time | Napa Valley, CA | In-Person (Office & Jobsite) $50–$60/hr DOE|$104,000-$124,800 annually

What You'll Do

• Own electrical estimating, takeoffs, and bid preparation for commercial and winery projects
• Use estimating software to build accurate, competitive bids
• Manage change orders from identification through execution and billing
• Coordinate material purchasing — power distribution, lighting packages, major equipment
• Work directly with field leadership, vendors, and suppliers to keep projects on track
• Perform site visits for scope verification and project support
• Use Excel for cost tracking, budget management, and reporting

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with electrical estimating — you've done this, not just assisted
• Familiarity with electrical estimating software (any platform — we can train on ours)
• Background in electrical construction, either in the field or in the office
