Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering with 2–4 years of estimating experience on commercial projects, and strong skills in MC2, On-Screen

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of preconstruction/estimating and/or operations on commercial projects.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use estimating software (MC2, On-Screen Takeoff, Paydirt, Constructware, iSqFt).
• Solid verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and adaptability.
• Ability to develop new skills quickly and work with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sections of estimates from schematic to construction documents.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Review plans and specs for CSI categories and develop unit costs.
• Attend site meetings and provide clarifications with the PM team.
• Maintain takeoff workload and support client relationships.
