Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate proposals for private and public projects in Fresno, CA. You will analyze drawings, site conditions, and costs, coordinating with field teams to ensure competitive bids.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of estimating experience, a Civil Engineering/related degree, and proficiency in AGTEK Take-off, Primavera, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience.
• 2+ years estimating experience and prior Project Engineer and take-off experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AGTEK Take-off, Primavera Scheduling, and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and timely proposals and estimates for private and public sector works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions; incorporate field input.
• Analyze bid risks, costs, and construction methods to ensure competitiveness.
• Prepare take-offs and ensure data accuracy for estimates.
• Present estimates to senior estimators and management for review.
