Job summary

Jobot in Richmond, VA is seeking a seasoned Project Estimator to drive commercial construction cost estimating from early budgeting through final contracts. The role partners with Owners, design teams, and project management to produce accurate estimates, manage procurement strategies, and support preconstruction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of estimating experience, strong document interpretation skills, and proficiency in MS Office; Destiny Beck Technology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Strong ability to review drawings, specs, proposals and related documents.
• Experience developing material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Experience with project budgets, schedules, value management and procurement.
• Experience soliciting and evaluating subcontractor proposals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Destiny (Beck Technology) estimating software preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Develop and finalize contract estimates; collaborate with Owners, Design Teams, and Project Management throughout estimating and preconstruction.
