Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in St. Louis, MO to own early project phases from concept to GMP on healthcare, senior living, and mixed-use projects. You will lead conceptual, SD, DD, and GMP estimates, drive design-build pursuits, and collaborate with owners, architects, and operations to shape scope and budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating/precon with a GC or CM.
• Healthcare, senior living, multifamily, or industrial experience.
• Strong conceptual estimating and self-perform/trade scope knowledge.
• Comfortable in front of clients – you help win work.
• Software: Procore, Bluebeam, ProEst, Sage, etc.
• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, SD, DD, and GMP estimates.
• Run design-build and CM-at-risk pursuits.
• Drive value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Build and manage subcontractor bid lists and trade coverage.
• Develop budgets, schedules, risk registers, and qualifications.
• Present estimates and strategy to owners and design teams.
• Hand off clean, bought-out projects to operations.

Job Details

Own preconstruction from concept to GMP. Partner with owners, architects, and ops to shape scope, budget, and schedule before a shovel hits the ground.
