Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator to perform basic to moderately complex cost estimating and quantity takeoffs for diverse construction projects in the Biloxi area. You will use Timberline to prepare OPCCs and assist in bid-day activities, while coordinating with project managers and suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least three years of related experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience with estimating, cost analysis and bid preparation.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Uses Timberline to prepare opinions of probable cost and design-build budgets.
• Coordinates procurement pricing, subcontracts and change management.
