Gerber Collision & Glass in Manchester, TN is seeking a skilled Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by creating accurate repair estimates and coordinating vehicle repairs with the team to minimize downtime and keep customers informed throughout the process.

You will document every customer interaction, communicate with customers and insurance companies, ensure compliance with DRP requirements, and support production walks and daily meetings.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Awareness of where to look for answers.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Compliance with DRP requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Document and update each customer interaction accurately.
  • Guide customers through the repair process with clear information.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance programs, DRPs and metrics.
  • Participate in daily production walks with management.
  • Support team members and attend required meetings.
  • Meet facility KPIs and maintain excellent customer experience.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent detailsProvide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer serviceEnsure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metricsEnsure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and deliveryCommunicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team membersProvides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phoneUnderstanding of all required Insurance programs and proceduresParticipate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as requiredSupport all team members when requiredParticipate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store ManagerMinimum Education and/or Experience Required for the JobKnowledge of Repairs and OE GuidelinesHigh School Diploma or equivalentAwareness of where to look for answersBasic Computer SkillsCompliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAwareness of where to look for answersBasic Computer SkillsCompliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experienceMust be willing to complete I-CAR TrainingValid Driver’s LicensePlease note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
