Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Lexington, VA is seeking an Estimator to create accurate repair estimates and coordinate vehicle repairs. You will communicate with customers and insurers throughout the repair process to ensure a smooth experience.

Responsibilities include assessing damage, documenting repairs and parts, and collaborating with the team to meet facility KPIs while following DRP and WOW procedures. A High School Diploma and 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Awareness of DRP processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer experience while creating estimates and coordinating repair needs, communicating with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process.
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and document needed repairs and parts on the damage appraisal.
  • Participate in daily production walks and safety meetings; support team members as required.
  • Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated with pertinent details and aligned with KPIs.
  • Guide customers through the repair process, delivering accurate information and excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements, DRP processes and WOW operating methods.
  • Communicate customer requests to the appropriate team members and greet customers positively in person and on the phone.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops as recommended by the Store Manager.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
