Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass Tyler is seeking an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs. You will document interactions, inform customers and insurers, and ensure all steps meet DRP rules and dealership standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to learn I-CAR training requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle repairs and OE guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR training.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction accurately.
• Provide customers with accurate, timely information and guide them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and DRP processes.
• Attend production walks and team meetings as required.
• Support team members and communicate customer needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain positive, proactive communication with customers in person and by phone.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
