Job summary

The FloorWorks Group in Bethlehem, NH is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. You’ll review floor plans, specifications, field measurements, and project documents to determine flooring requirements and estimate material and labor costs.

You’ll create detailed estimates using Measure Square, identify discrepancies, prepare change orders, and work closely with sales, installers, and vendors to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Experience reading construction drawings and project documents.
• Background in flooring installation or related construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review floor plans, specifications, field measurements, photos, and project documents to determine flooring requirements.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and helping projects come together from plans to installation.

What You’ll Do

• Review floor plans, specifications, field measurements, photos, and project documents to determine flooring requirements.
• Perform accurate material take-offs and estimate material and labor costs.
• Determine installation methods, layouts, and directions.
• Create detailed estimates using flooring software such as Measure Square. We’ll train the right person on Measure Square.
• Identify discrepancies or missing information and help find solutions.
• Prepare and manage change orders.
• Work closely with sales, installers, contractors, and vendors to keep projects on track.
• Prepare project files, drawings, installation instructions, and other documentation.
• Visit jobsites to check completion, quality, and customer satisfaction.
