The Estimator serves as the subject matter expert for all manufacturing processes, providing technical expertise and guidance across the organization. This role develops accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Perfecto’s standards for precision craftsmanship. The Estimator actively supports both inside and outside sales teams with technical insights, helping to shape proposals and win new business. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging deep industry knowledge, the Estimator enables informed decision‑making, supports profitable growth, and strengthens customer trust. Success in this position directly impacts Perfecto’s ability to win new business, manage risk, and deliver on its Core Purpose: serving our partners by manufacturing innovative solutions with precision craftsmanship.

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Machining, Engineering, Manufacturing or related experience preferred.
Deep understanding of manufacturing methods, materials, and workflows to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
Experience in providing technical guidance and expertise to inside and outside sales teams, helping shape proposals and win new business.
Skilled in using digital estimating tools and software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and speed to quote.
Identifies potential risks in estimates and projects, proactively develops mitigation strategies, and validates assumptions.
Works closely with engineering, production, and sales to ensure estimates reflect real-world capabilities and customer needs.
Seeks opportunities to refine estimating processes, adopt new technologies, and share best practices across the team.
Familiarity with cost drivers and industry trends.
