Qualifications

MISSION OF THE POSITION

The Estimator serves as the subject matter expert for all manufacturing processes, providing technical expertise and guidance across the organization. This role develops accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Perfecto’s standards for precision craftsmanship. The Estimator actively supports both inside and outside sales teams with technical insights, helping to shape proposals and win new business. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging deep industry knowledge, the Estimator enables informed decision-making, supports profitable growth, and strengthens customer trust. Requirements

Education

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Machining, Engineering, Manufacturing or related experience preferred.

Manufacturing Process Expertise

Deep understanding of manufacturing methods, materials, and workflows to develop accurate and competitive estimates.

Technical Sales Support

Experience in providing technical guidance and expertise to inside and outside sales teams, helping shape proposals and win new business.

Estimating Software Proficiency

Skilled in using digital estimating tools and software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and speed to quote.

Risk Assessment & Management

Identifies potential risks in estimates and projects, proactively develops mitigation strategies, and validates assumptions.
