Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a full-time Estimator to support proposal development for GDLS products and services. You will work with the proposal team to ensure cost inputs are accurate, conform to CAS and FAR, and aligned with approved processes.

In a fast-paced environment you will handle multiple proposals, prepare pricing artifacts using ProPricer, and present findings to leadership. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Proficiency with MS Excel.
• Understanding of CAS and FAR.
• Experience in Program Management, Finance or Accounting and/or Defense Industry.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in core team meetings to adhere to proposal schedule and requirements.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into internal instructions across GDLS functions.
• Review estimated hours and cost by function relative to the scope of work.
• Prepare summaries, reports and submittal documents consolidating costs using ProPricer.
• Present proposals to leadership and support contract negotiations and audits.
• Train and mentor new employees and support internal/external audits.
