Job summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is hiring a Production & Estimating Administrator to support the Production and Estimating teams. The role involves preparing quotes, creating purchase orders, coordinating materials and project documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry.

The position reports to the Director of Production and is onsite. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (college degree preferred) and solid experience in office administration, with strong MS Office skills and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
• Knowledge of office-related practices and procedures
• Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with associates
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of business and management principles
• Previous experience with supporting a sales department

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and support assigned projects from start to finish.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and other sales-related documents.
• Create purchase orders and help manage material purchases.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment rentals, and other job needs.
• Communicate issues quickly with vendors, customers, and team members.
• Enter and maintain data in company systems and databases.
• Prepare project submittals and other required documentation.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
• Look for opportunities to support customers and generate new business.
