Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital is recruiting on behalf of a growing MEP contractor in the Southeast for a brand-new Estimating Manager role in Greenville, SC.

You will lead and grow the estimating team across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and piping, estimating directly from plans while building the systems and mentorship needed to scale.

Relocation assistance is available, with a choice of company vehicle or a vehicle allowance plus gas card; reports to Executive Leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mechanical estimating background.
• Experience reading HVAC, plumbing drawings and codes.
• Proficient with takeoff software such as Bluebeam or OST.
• Leadership experience building and mentoring a small team.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a growing estimating team, starting at two and scaling toward four.
• Personally estimate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and piping projects.
• Bring high-level management structure and best practices to a fast-growing department.
• Partner with sales and executive leadership on bid strategy and pricing.
• Help build processes and the team needed for the next growth phase.
