Job summary

Southland Industries offers an estimating internship program designed to introduce candidates to a career in estimating within the HVAC, plumbing and fire protection industry. You will assist the estimating team with preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed estimates for smaller projects, collaborating with senior estimators to analyze drawings and perform take-offs.

You will help with project updates, document controls, and data research to maintain accurate historical cost data.

• Help develop project updates and compare bid documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Track and adjust quantities as needed, resolve discrepancies, and maintain documentation.
