Canyon Ranch Plumbing Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join our team on commercial projects. You will analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to deliver accurate, competitive cost estimates that support profitable bidding and project execution.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial plumbing estimating, proficiency with Quotesoft, Autobid Mechanical and Bluebeam Revu, and strong analytical, negotiation and takeoff skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating.
• Proficient in Quotesoft, Autobid Mechanical, and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, labor and material costs.
• Experience preparing square-foot budgets, take-offs, and cost analyses.

Responsibilities

• Estimate with accuracy by analyzing plans, specifications, and proposals to create detailed and competitive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Budget and forecast by calculating labor and material costs and contributing to early scheduling.
• Support project execution by working with project managers and field teams to keep projects within estimated budgets.
• Stay ahead of the industry by keeping up with local and national plumbing codes, labor standards, and emerging construction technologies.

Plumbing Estimator - Commercial Projects

Canyon Ranch Plumbing Company is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join our team. With a strong pipeline of commercial projects and a commitment to excellence, we are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can provide accurate and competitive estimates while ensuring project profitability. If you have a passion for precision and a deep understanding of plumbing systems, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Estimate with Accuracy – Analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to create detailed and competitive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Vendors & Subcontractors – Obtain competitive pricing for materials and services to ensure cost-effective bids.
• Budget & Forecast – Prepare plumbing budgets, calculate labor and material costs, and contribute to preliminary scheduling.
• Support Project Execution – Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure projects stay within estimated budgets.
• Stay Ahead of the Industry – Keep up with local and national plumbing codes, labor standards, and emerging construction technologies.

What You Bring to the Team

Experience & Technical Knowledge 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating Proficiency in Quotesoft, Autobid Mechanical, and Bluebeam Strong understanding of plumbing codes, labor, and material costs Experience preparing square-foot budgets, take-offs, and cost analyses

Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accuracy in estimating Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple bids simultaneously Excellent communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients Ability to interpret project contracts, specifications, and bid requirements Manual takeoff capability Tech & software savvy Must be able to complete estimates with minimal supervision
