Job summary
Canyon Ranch Plumbing Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join our team on commercial projects. You will analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to deliver accurate, competitive cost estimates that support profitable bidding and project execution.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial plumbing estimating, proficiency with Quotesoft, Autobid Mechanical and Bluebeam Revu, and strong analytical, negotiation and takeoff skills.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating.
- Proficient in Quotesoft, Autobid Mechanical, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, labor and material costs.
- Experience preparing square-foot budgets, take-offs, and cost analyses.
Responsibilities
- Estimate with accuracy by analyzing plans, specifications, and proposals to create detailed and competitive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Budget and forecast by calculating labor and material costs and contributing to early scheduling.
- Support project execution by working with project managers and field teams to keep projects within estimated budgets.
- Stay ahead of the industry by keeping up with local and national plumbing codes, labor standards, and emerging construction technologies.
