Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation invites applicants for an Esthetician at Spruce Peak Spa in Vermont to deliver facial and body treatments, waxing, and makeup services to guests in a luxury resort setting.

You will provide courteous service, maintain spa standards, educate guests on services, and actively promote treatments and retail while upholding sanitation and safety protocols. This is a full-time position with benefits and growth opportunities at a premier Hyatt property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2-3 years spa or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong organizational and time management.
• Understanding of hospitality operating systems.
• CPR Certified preferred.
• Solid judgment and conflict resolution.
• Operate effectively in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, efficient service to all guests and spa visitors.
• Provides consistent professional facials and waxing in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Has complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas
• Actively promotes the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Greets guests upon arrival.
• Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and safe facility.
• Maintains an accurate supply list and inventory sheet.
• Maintains a clean and organized spa by monitoring the facilities regularly.
• Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events.

Wage: Commission

Must be able to work full-time hours Thursday through Monday including all Holiday's.
