Cogir Senior Living is hiring a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) in our community's restaurant. You will keep pots, dishes, and utensils clean so the culinary team can serve residents efficiently.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. The role includes flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6–12 months of dishwasher or kitchen support experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area.
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste.
• Clean mats and garbage pails; sanitize food prep surfaces as needed.
• Support kitchen staff during meal preparation and service.
• Replenish chemicals, towels, and soap dispensers for sanitation.
