Job summary

EON, Inc. in Bird Island, MN seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide care for adults and children in our community. You will assist with daily living tasks, dressing, grooming, and medications as part of a supportive team.

The role is hourly, non-exempt, with flexible full- and part-time afternoon schedules; ESOP participation and benefits are available after meeting eligibility. Must have driver’s license and English literacy. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Must read and write in English.
• Able to document information electronically.
• Meet the physical requirements outlined in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with dressing, grooming, hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with bedtime routines and administer medications as directed.
• Support independent living skills such as routines, meal prep, shopping and budgeting.
• Help individuals access the community and participate in recreation and leisure activities.
