George Brazil Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an Accounting Clerk in Phoenix, AZ. You will support daily accounting operations, coordinate accounts payable, and assist with financial reporting under the CFO’s leadership.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in AP/AR, strong Excel skills, and experience with Sage Intacct. This employee-owned company emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and timely task completion in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college-level accounting coursework; associate or higher degree is a plus.
• 3+ years experience in AP/AR or accounting role.
• Intermediate MS Excel experience including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is required; prior AP/AR work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run accounting software to manage accounts payable and related processes.
• Review invoices and payment requests for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Prepare and input invoices into Sage Intacct; ensure timely payments for deadlines.
• Maintain accounts payable reconciliations and support general ledger activities.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support finance.
