Job summary

First American's Mesa, AZ branch is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support our escrow team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will help open and close files, prepare documents, and coordinate with branches and couriers.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years escrow experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to follow procedures. We offer comprehensive benefits, a competitive pay range, and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow Escrow Procedures and have awareness of regulations governing escrow process
• Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level
• 1–2 years escrow processing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of support to a team of Escrow Support Processors and Escrow Officers.
• May work on escrow openings and closings.
• Prepare correspondence, escrow files and orders preliminary title reports.
• Perform fund disbursements.
• Prepare and deliver closing statements and closing letters.
• Schedule and provide instructions to couriers.
• Order payoffs, liens, homeowner association documents and evidence of insurance.
