Job summary

First American's San Antonio Homebuilder Services is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support our escrow team in a fast-paced environment, handling orders, documents, and disbursements while delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years escrow experience, strong communication, and comfort with MS Office; we value a professional, positive attitude and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional attitude and customer-focused.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the escrow process, such as opening orders, inputting closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, handling the complete disbursement and follow-up
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process
• Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings
• Working with a variety of technologies to enable escrow transactions and communicate with our customers to provide a phenomenal customer experience
• Greet and direct visitors in office
• Operate multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel
• Monitor visitor access and issues passes when required, may update appointment calendars
