First American in Florida is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support our escrow team in a fast-paced environment, handling opening orders, disbursements, and document preparation while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of escrow experience; strong communication, detail orientation, and MS Office proficiency are essential. Local candidates in Sarasota or Tampa are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years escrow-related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal teams and customers.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the escrow process, including opening orders, inputting closing statements, preparing documents, disbursement, and follow-up.
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process.
• Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings.
• Support office operations and greet visitors as needed.
