Job summary

First American's Direct division is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support the escrow team with customer service and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in opening orders, reading title commitments, and coordinating title clearance steps while maintaining excellent communication with customers.

The role emphasizes a strong customer focus, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to new software and processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
• Team-oriented and able to deliver beyond customer expectations.
• MS Office proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
• 2+ years escrow-related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the escrow process, such as opening orders, reading title commitments, and taking necessary steps to clear title.
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process flow.
• Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings.
• Work with a variety of technologies to enable escrow transactions and provide a phenomenal customer experience.
